Put Duofolios on your home screen.
There’s no app store download. Duofolios runs in your browser, and adding it to your home screen makes it open like any other app.
Open DuofoliosiPhone or iPad
- Open app.duofolios.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
Chrome on iPhone works too: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Installing also stops Safari from clearing Duofolios’ data if you haven’t opened it for a week.
Android
- Open app.duofolios.com in Chrome.
- Tap the menu, the three dots in the top corner.
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen, then Install.
Computer
- Open app.duofolios.com in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install.
- On a Mac with Safari, choose File, then Add to Dock.
Why install it?
- It opens full-screen from your home screen, without the browser’s address bar.
- Once it has loaded, it works without an internet connection.
- On iPhone, Safari clears a website’s storage if you don’t visit for seven days. Installed apps are exempt, so your numbers stay put.
Whichever way you use it, download a backup from the app’s settings every so often.
